I may be redundant to exclaim my praise to the evolution of John since his rejoining the band but I have to say I am more impressed with each show of the progression of his vocals. I'm not sure if you d/l it or not, but even in the encoded player, Steve sounds at an equivalent, if not just as loud as anyone else on stage. Sometimes in the heat of the intensity, everything tends to get muddied out when listening the the compressed version through the player, but on my copy he sounds fine. To each their own, I suppose. I'm usually a real stickler for the mix - to the point that I cannot ever listen to the music as a whole anymore. While no mix (except studio) is perfect, I think Dan's most recent mixes get as close to perfect as possible.
